ICN Pharmaceuticals: The Costa Mesa health care company said Monday it has acquired the radioimmunoassay division of Becton, Dickinson & Co. in Orangeburg, N.Y., for an undisclosed amount. The division had sales of about $12 million in 1994. ICN said the acquisition, combined with its own radioimmunoassay activities, will result in a $20-million unit. Radioimmunoassay is a way of detecting disease by measuring the level of hormone activity.
