Trailing by one run, Long Beach State rallied in the seventh and eighth innings to beat Fresno State, 5-4, in a nonconference baseball game Monday at Blair Field.
Tim Falsken’s double drove in Casey Snow with the winning run in the eighth for Long Beach State (31-19-1 and ranked 20th by Collegiate Baseball). Alex Sanchez got his first victory and Gabe Gonzalez his 17th save. Fresno State, ranked 12th in the same poll, dropped to 36-17.
