HOLLYWOOD : Body Found in Stolen Car After Arrest of Suspect

Moments after chasing down and arresting a car theft suspect Tuesday, officers checked the stolen sedan in which the suspect had tried to flee and found the body of a man, shot in the head, still strapped into one of the seats, Los Angeles police said.
Investigators said the shooting apparently occurred during the chase.
They said officers in a patrol car were chasing the stolen sedan when it pulled to the curb at De Longpre Avenue and St. Andrews Place and the car thief got out and tried to escape on foot.
After the officers captured the suspect, they found the body in the car, the investigators said. Further details were not immediately available.
