GARDEN GROVE : Art Exhibit to Feature Senior Citizens’ Works

The city, the Garden Grove Unified School District and community groups are sponsoring an art showcase for senior citizens’ works.
Ageless Expressions, a juried fine arts and crafts show, will be May 17 and 18 at the Chapman Educational Center, 11852 Knott St. No entry fee is required.
All seniors who live in Garden Grove or participate in senior programs run by the city or school district are eligible to enter.
The 10th annual showcase will feature paintings, sculptures and crafts. There is a limit of two works per person, school district spokesman Alan Trudell said. Entries will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.
An awards ceremony will be May 18 at 1 p.m., Trudell said.
