Results of Bar Exam Available by Phone

Applicants waiting for their February bar exam results may call the State Bar of California two days before the names of the successful test-takers are publicly announced to learn if they passed.
The service begins May 26, between 6 and 10 p.m., the night the results are mailed to applicants, and will continue May 27, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
The numbers are (213) 765-1500 and (415) 561-8303. Each person calling may inquire about one name.
The exam results will be mailed to applicants May 26 and will be available to the public May 30.
Passage of the examination is a requirement to practice law in the state.
Successful test-takers locally will be admitted to the bar during a ceremony June 13 at Inn at the Park in Anaheim.
