Man Is Shot to Death While Driving Car

SANTA ANA — A 20-year-old man was shot to death Tuesday while driving on North Jackson Street in what police believe to be a gang-related attack, authorities said.
Lucio Mancilla of Anaheim was traveling in the 400 block of North Jackson Street about 3:20 p.m. when one of several young men began firing at his car, hitting him in the upper torso, Police Lt. Jose Garcia said. Mancilla, who died at the scene, was identified by police as a local gang member, Garcia said.
The killer fled on foot and was at large Tuesday. Shells found at the scene revealed that a large-caliber semiautomatic handgun was used in the slaying, Garcia said.
