Snow, from Huntington Beach High, missed winning the State championship in the 50-yard backstroke by 1/100th of a second at the State meet last weekend in Fremont. Palomar’s Heidi Turney won in 28.71. But that was hardly Snow’s only contribution to Orange Coast’s seventh consecutive State title under Coach Don Watson. She finished second in the 100 backstroke and was a member of OCC’s winning 200- and 400-medley relay teams.
