SANTA ANA : Auditions Scheduled for College News Show

Rancho Santiago College will conduct auditions June 6 for its television news show, “Around and About Orange County,” a college spokesman said.
The tryouts will be in Room E-103 of the Centennial Education Center, 2900 W. Edinger Ave., at 11 a.m.
No previous experience is necessary for the positions, which include anchor, field reporter and sportscaster, spokesman Dale Ruhe said.
Anyone with writing or camera skills is also urged to attend.
Those seeking on-camera positions will be asked to read news scripts from a TelePrompTer.
All participants must be available Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of July for production of the weekly newscast, Ruhe said.
