Taylor, from Capistrano Valley High, has been the Dons’ most devastating hitter all season. In last weekend’s regional playoffs, she was six for 11 with a home run and five runs batted in. In an 8-1 victory over Antelope Valley, she had two hits including a two-run double, and scored twice. She had two hits including a home run in an 8-0 victory over Pasadena and added two more hits in a 5-3 victory over Mt. San Antonio. She is hitting .382 with three home runs and 32 RBIs.
