VENTURA : Community Picnic Needs Food Vendors

Food and drink vendors representing nonprofit groups are needed for the second annual July 4 community picnic and fireworks display at Ventura College.
Foods ranging from hot dogs and hamburgers to hot chocolate and snow cones are needed for the event, which is sponsored by the Downtown Rotary Club of Ventura. It drew nearly 4,500 revelers last year.
The picnic at 5 p.m. kicks off the evening with stage entertainment and children’s games. It concludes with the fireworks show.
