* John L. Porterfield has been appointed vice president at La Cagnina/Riley Associates, the Encino-based commercial property management company reported.
Porterfield previously had his own firm, Porterfield Commercial Real Estate, which specialized in site selection and lease negotiations for retail companies including Miller’s Outpost. Porterfield holds a master’s in business administration from USC and a bachelor’s degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia.
* Roger M. Myers has joined TransWorld Bank as vice president and area manager of the bank’s offices in the northeast San Fernando Valley area, the Sherman Oaks-based bank reported.
Myers, formerly chief executive of Golden Pacific Bank in Ontario, is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, and earned a bachelor’s degree in philosophy at UCLA.
