Hotel Investors Inc.: The San Clemente real estate investment trust, which went public last month, reported second-quarter profit of $482,493 compared with $456,887 for the prior-year period. Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was up 4% to $5.4 million from $5.2 million. First-half net income rose 60% to $1.6 million from $1 million. Revenue gained 4% to $11.8 million from $11.3 million. The results include three hotels that were acquired after the initial public offering Aug. 11.
