A 32-year-old man was shot to death in an alley near his home during an argument with four other men, police investigators said Tuesday.
Garden Grove resident Albaro Navarro was found with multiple gunshot wounds about 8:15 p.m. Monday by police officers responding to a call in the 11700 block of Sage Street, Police Sgt. Mike Handfield said.
Navarro was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where he died.
Navarro, a custodian for an Anaheim motel near Disneyland, was married with four children--the youngest born just four weeks ago, said his wife, Amparo Navarro.
She said her husband had left the house earlier that evening and had been talking to a few friends in a parking lot nearby about 20 minutes before the shooting.
“I don’t know what happened after that,” Amparo Navarro said. “I am devastated.”
Police know of no motive for the shooting and have no suspects, Handfield said.
