Palmdale 21, Hesperia 7--Palmdale cashed in two of four Hesperia turnovers for touchdowns and junior Jan Brown rushed for 158 yards, including scoring runs of eight and 53 yards, as the visiting Falcons (2-3) kept the Scorpions (0-5) winless.
Palmdale’s Jeremy Coleman had two interceptions and Malosi Leonard recovered a fumble in Hesperia’s end zone for a touchdown. One of Coleman’s interceptions was converted into an eight-yard scoring run by Brown.
Palmdale defensive end Michael Calhoun had 3 1/2 sacks as the Falcons limited the Scorpions to 106 yards.
