JC FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Valley Sends Flowers, Buries Compton, 62-7

Valley College scored nine touchdowns in 10 possessions and pummeled Compton, 62-7, in a Western State Conference South Division game Saturday night at Valley.
Aaron Flowers was brilliant in the first half, completing 16 of 20 passes for 267 yards and staking Valley to a 34-0 halftime lead. Flowers didn’t play in the second half.
Marcus Harvey had 87 yards and three touchdowns in eight carries and Elijah Raphael added 75 yards and two touchdowns in 11 carries for the Monarchs (4-0, 3-0 in conference, 2-0 in division).
