“WorldColor,” a multicultural revue of stories, music and slides, will be presented Tuesday and Wednesday to benefit the Amy Biehl Foundation and multicultural programs at Orange Coast College. One-hour performances geared to children are at 10 a.m. both days, $5 to $7; a more mature-themed, two-hour show is Tuesday at 8 p.m., $10. All shows in the college’s Robert B. The Orange County Performing Arts Center and the Laguna Chamber Music Society will jointly present concerts by the Emerson String Quartet over five years, beginning Sunday. The first program, at 7 p.m. at Founders Hall at the center, will consist of Haydn’s Quartet in D, Op. 33, No. 6; Shostakovich’s Quartet No. 3, and Beethoven’s Quartet No. 9. The quartet will play the odd years in Founders Hall and the even years at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Tickets: $20; for students, $8. (714) 556-2787.
