Boeing, Strikers to Resume Talks: Negotiators from Boeing Co. and its striking machinists’ union have agreed to resume talks aimed at signing a new three-year labor contract. The talks are scheduled to resume today in the first formal bargaining meeting between the sides since the strike started on Oct. 6. Boeing and the leaders of the International Assn. of Machinists and Aerospace Workers agreed to talk at the urging of a federal mediator in Seattle, who asked that the sides not disclose the location of the talks. Boeing shares slipped $2.125 to $73.75 on the New York Stock Exchange.
