Huntington Beach Man, 78, Dies in Collision

HUNTINGTON BEACH — A 78-year-old man was killed Friday after his car collided with a van as he was leaving a shopping center, police said.
Martin Eugle of Huntington Beach was pulling out of the Home Depot parking lot at Golden West and Edinger Avenues about 11:20 a.m. when he apparently turned in front of a car driven by a 23-year-old woman, Police Sgt. Mike Mello said.
Eugle died at the scene. The woman was treated for abrasions and chest pains. She was not cited.
