Monroe 35, Venice 29--Aaron Arnold rushed for two touchdowns and passed for another as the sixth-seeded Vikings (8-3) squeaked past Venice (5-6) at Monroe.
Arnold rushed for 87 yards in seven carries and passed for 165 yards, completing eight of nine. Included was a 93-yard scoring play to Kenyatta Burris.
Monroe’s Vinny Walker rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns in 20 carries.
