COUNTRY OF ORIGIN

I am with Morgan Freeman all the way in not favoring the term African American (“Writing a New A-List,” by David Ehrenstein, Nov. 12). I have been on a mission to call black Americans black Americans. I thought I was alone in this crusade and am glad to hear another voice. How many generations will black people need to be in this country before we can claim complete heritage?
