Youth : News for the 18-and-under crowd : GARDEN GROVE : Hospital Recruits Medical Explorers

Garden Grove Hospital and Medical Center is seeking young men and women for its Medical Explorer Post.
The program, operated by the Boy Scouts of America, matches young people with an interest in the medical professions with adults in the field.
“Activities vary from observing a surgical procedure to working in the emergency room,” said Tim Smith, chief executive officer of Garden Grove Hospital.
An introductory meeting is planned for Dec. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the hospital. Information: (714) 741-2790.
