WATER POLO : Doubleheader Includes Top O.C. Prep Stars

LAKE FOREST — Orange County’s best high school senior water polo players and some of the best in the world will be featured in a water polo doubleheader Sunday at El Toro High.
The 10th annual county all-star game is scheduled for 1 p.m. It will be followed at about 2 by an exhibition between the U.S. and Australian national teams.
Brian Brown and Kevin Brantley of Southern Section Division I champion Foothill, Peter Cornue and Brian Pharris of Division I runner-up Villa Park, Servite’s Jerry Smith, Esperanza’s Aaron Poole and Los Alamitos’ John Pearce are expected to be among the players representing the north.
The south team includes Robert Grayeli and Sean Hylton of Division II champion Costa Mesa, Stever O’Rourke of Division II runner-up Marina, Newport Harbor’s Chris Richardson, San Clemente’s Jim Farley, El Toro’s Greg Stoll and Capistrano Valley’s Jake French.
Admission for the doubleheader is $6 for adults, $4 for students.
