LA PALMA : Applicants Sought for Beautification Panel

The city is seeking applicants for two vacancies on the La Palma Cultural & Beautification Committee.
The panel conducts many civic activities, including the annual holiday home and business decorating contest, the city’s tree-lighting ceremony, Spring Festival of Arts, Arbor Day and Memorial Day programs and the Concert in the Park series.
The committee meets every second Tuesday at 4:45 p.m. in the conference room at the city’s Community Center.
The deadline for applications is Jan. 8. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and residents of the city.
