Times Mirror Co. said it expects to buy about 3.48 million shares of its Series B preferred stock at $26.125 apiece under a previously announced tender offer that expired Wednesday. . . . Rite Aid Corp. extended its $1.8-billion tender offer for Revco D.S. Inc.’s stock to Jan. 16, and said the Federal Trade Commission has requested more information on the takeover. . . . A San Francisco Superior Court judge, delivering a victory to construction unions, granted a preliminary injunction barring hearings on a Wilson administration plan to narrow the state’s “prevailing wage” policies on public works projects.
