HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER ROUNDUP : Castro Smokes as Cleveland Rolls

Luis Castro scored four goals in two matches Thursday as the Cleveland boys’ soccer team defeated South Pasadena, 2-0, and Alemany, 5-3, to advance to today’s championship match of the Hart tournament.
The Cavaliers (5-2-1) will face Palmdale, which defeated Harvard-Westlake, 4-0, in a quarterfinal and Saugus, 2-0 in a semifinal.
In other Hart tournament matches:
Chatsworth 3, El Camino Real 1--Ryan Fagen, David Mexia and Eli Rosa scored as the Chancellors (4-5-1) defeated the Conquistadores and advanced to today’s consolation championship match against Grant.
Cleveland 5, Alemany 3--John Macdonald scored three goals, boosting his season total to 20, but the Indians (7-5-1) dropped the semifinal match.
Buena 2, Agoura 1--Daryl Mundy and Jose Mendoza scored as the Bulldogs (5-0-1) defeated the Chargers (5-4-1) in a Buena tournament pool-play match.
In other Buena tournament pool-play matches:
Agoura 3, Santa Paula 0--Marc Feurstein scored on two penalty kicks in the first half and Adam Eyre added another in the second for the Chargers (5-3-1).
Ventura 3, Thousand Oaks 1--Jack Wilson scored to pull the Lancers (0-6-5) into a second-half tie before the Cougars pulled away.
