Youth : News for the 18-and-under crowd : Illustrations Exhibit Nearing Final Chapter

An exhibit of children’s book illustrations by California artists continues through Friday at the City of Brea Gallery.
Titled “Worth a Thousand Words,” the exhibit features more than 75 works from books such as “The Emperor’s New Clothes” and “How George Radbourn Saved Baseball.”
The gallery, at 1 Civic Center Circle, is open from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Admission is $1.
