Hearings to Examine Water Recreation Use

Public hearings on whether to allow swimming, kayaking, windsailing and other activities at Lake Casitas have been scheduled for this summer and fall.
The Casitas Municipal Water District will hold the hearings to help the district draw up lake-use rules by July 1, 1997.
The hearings are scheduled for: 7 p.m. June 26 at Oak View Community Center; 7 p.m. Aug. 14 at Oak View Community Center; from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Casitas Municipal Water District office in Oak View, and at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at an undecided location.
The times, dates and locations are subject to change.
