Now that The Times has its own Web site, perhaps you can establish a “Bash Charlton Heston Web Page” to which the terminally PC folks in Hollywood can e-mail. This would allow room on the Letters page for letters on other subjects.

Charlton Heston has contributed a great deal to this city, and his rich experiences and background are important to hear from. It’s obvious to me that all this criticism is purely political.
