Theater mogul James Edwards Sr. has opened 10 of the 160 new screens that Edwards Theatres Circuit Inc. intends to build this year.
The family-owned business in Newport Beach that drew headlines in November with its 21-screen complex in the Irvine Entertainment Center recently opened a 10-screen complex at Park Place, a restaurant-retail complex in Irvine.
