IRVINE — A Houston company said Tuesday that it plans to acquire Separation and Recovery Systems Inc., which makes and distributes oil separator and filtration systems.
Terms of the planned acquisition by American ECO Corp. weren’t disclosed.
American ECO said Separation’s filtration systems have been installed in half of the world’s fleet of oil and petrochemical tankers, as well as in major oil refineries. Separation revenue totaled $12.6 million last year.
The transaction must be approved by regulatory agencies and American ECO’s directors.
American ECO provides construction, project management, maintenance and other services in refining and other industries.
