Not Guilty Plea Entered by Wilder

Dave Wilder, who was fired last week as Westlake High baseball coach for misstating his employment history, pleaded not guilty Monday in L.A. Municipal Court to three counts of felony grand theft.
Wilder, 53, remains in custody in Men’s Central Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail after being arrested Saturday by district attorney investigators.
A bail review hearing is scheduled for Monday and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 2.
A warrant for Wilder’s arrest had been outstanding since April 1994. The felony complaint involves three counts of grand theft property exceeding $400.
Wilder, a first-year walk-on head coach, was dismissed Thursday after an administrative probe prompted by parents revealed he had falsified his work history.
