Saddleback 5, Riverside 1--Thys Bakker pitched a five-hitter for Saddleback, striking out 11 to improve his record to 4-2.
Tavares Comeaux was three for four and Corrie Willkie was three for five for the host Gauchos (24-12-1, 13-8).
Rancho Santiago 9, Fullerton 8--Kevin Duck and Scott Glasser had RBI hits in the eighth to give Rancho Santiago (29-10, 13-8) the come-from-behind victory.
Fullerton scored seven runs in the sixth to take an 8-6 lead. Poncho Ruiz hit a two-run homer and Mike Theis a three-run shot in the inning for the Hornets. Tony Zuniga homered twice and Danny Ward (3-1) pitched a scoreless ninth to earn the victory for the Dons.
