Decision on Gas Station Postponed
After complaints from dozens of angry neighbors, the Moorpark City Council has postponed a decision on whether to allow a Mobil gas station at Spring and Tierra Rejada roads.
The council postponed its decision until May 29, saying it wanted to obtain more information on an earthquake fault under the proposed gas station site.
Residents said they were worried the proposed station was too close to a day-care center and was an inappropriate business for the site, which they called a “gateway to the city.”
