The 8-year-old girl whose mother allegedly made her sick on purpose has been eating pizza, hot dogs and chocolate bars for a week--and doesn’t need to get nourishment from feeding tubes, doctors in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., say. Her mother, Kathleen Bush, faces charges of aggravated child abuse and organized fraud. Authorities say the mother has Munchausen’s syndrome by proxy, a mental disorder in which an adult makes a child ill to get attention.
