* Music: Mercury Records has signed a joint venture deal with Nashville-based Capricorn Records, home to such artists as Syd Straw, Cake and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Mercury, which is owned by PolyGram, will market, promote and distribute all product released by Capricorn.
