Scott Moser, a discus thrower at Huntington Beach, has been invited to compete today in the Golden West Invitational track and field meet at Cal State Sacramento.
Only the top eight high school athletes nationally from each event are invited to compete. Moser’s invitation came after winning the state title last week with a throw of 185 feet 7 inches.
