Sunset Hills Country Club in Thousand Oaks will hold a benefit tournament and silent auction June 30 for Trevor Foster, 15, of Thousand Oaks, who had a heart transplant in April.
Foster was diagnosed with leukemia at age 2 and doctors believe experimental drugs that helped him overcome the cancer caused an enlarged heart.
Tournament proceeds will help pay for Foster’s education. Because he is at risk of infection, Foster cannot attend school and his family must hire a private tutor.
