Brett Hardy, a former Tustin High and UC Santa Barbara outfielder, has signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks and will report to the organization’s rookie-league team in Lethbridge, Alberta. Hardy, drafted in the 35th round, was a first-team all-Big West selection and hit .344 this season.
