Ojai Graduate Receives Mervyn’s Scholarship

Rebecca Garvin of Ojai was one of 100 female high school graduates to receive $1,000 from the Mervyn’s California/Women’s Sports Foundation Scholarship awards.

The scholarship recognizes young women across the country for athletic participation, academic performance, community service and financial need.

The scholarships must be used toward completion of an undergraduate college degree.
