Kaufman & Broad Executive Resigns: Roger Menard, executive vice president and head of U.S. operations, has left the No. 2 spot at the Los Angeles-based home builder as part of a reorganization of the company’s management. Under the new structure designed to manage the firm’s rapid nationwide growth, a trio of existing Kaufman executives will take responsibility for company operations on a regional basis and report to Chairman and Chief Executive Bruce Karatz. Glen Barnard will take over operations in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Texas. Lisa Kalmbach will head operations in Northern California and the Central Valley. Albert Praw will oversee the Southern California and Nevada divisions as well as Kaufman’s Mexican and affordable-housing operations. Menard will continue to work with the company as a consultant.
