Toledo Isn’t Satisfied

Having read and heard that UCLA played fairly well and had some things to be proud of in its 35-20 loss to Tennessee, Bruin Coach Bob Toledo let it be known that there should be no misconceptions.
“We’re not satisfied with losing,” he said. “I don’t think there’s such a thing as a moral victory. You either win or you lose. That’s cut and dried.”

Tight end Mike Grieb will not be available this week because of a sprained ankle, leaving the position to senior Jamal Clark and junior Tyrone Pierce, neither pass-receiving threats.
Nose guard Jeff Ruckman is also unlikely to play because of a knee injury. In his place, Pete Holland will share time with Weldon Forde, with defensive end Damon Smith also getting a look.
Skip Hicks (concussion) is expected to start. Northeast Louisiana has given up a 100-yard game by a running back in 12 of its last 13 games, including 158 yards to Thomas Hamner in a 30-3 loss to Minnesota on Saturday night.
