Magicians, clairvoyants and palm readers will be on hand Thursday to mark the opening of the Universal Care Van Nuys Medical and Dental Center.
Guests at the opening will tour the new facility on the Van Nuys campus of Northridge Medical Center.
Universal Care serves about 130,000 members in California. Jay Davis, executive vice president of the company, said the Van Nuys facility is futuristic in that it offers a variety of resources--from dentists to pharmacists to general practitioners--under one roof. “It’s really geared around primary-care services,” he said.
The arrangement between the two companies means Universal will send any patients it can’t treat to the hospital at Northridge.
Space is limited for Thursday’s opening. Call (310) 981-4003 for reservations or more information.
