Council Praises College’s Work

Saying that the city “is very fortunate to have such a highly accredited institution” within its borders, the City Council recently praised Cypress College on its 30th anniversary.
The community college, founded in 1966, is a vital part of the city, council members said.
The college “has consistently provided over 13,000 students each year with a high standard of educational requirements to better become contributing members of the community,” the council said in a resolution.
