Ventura County Sheriff’s Department investigators were searching for a man Tuesday who robbed a Moorpark record store.
The man, described as 35 to 40 years old, held up a clerk at the Record Outlet store Monday at about 5:30 p.m., said Sheriff’s Det. Joe Braga.
The clerk said he saw the man go through compact discs and wait until all the customers had left the store. He then approached the clerk and demanded cash, using a hand in his pocket to indicate that he may have been armed.
The clerk handed over more than $300, Braga said.
The robber is white, with a medium build, and long light-brown hair and was wearing a T-shirt and shorts, Braga said.
Anyone with information on the crime should contact Braga at 494-8223.
