Hoover Generates Little in Loss to Temple City

Temple City High rushed for 304 yards and held Hoover to 63 total yards in a 21-0 football victory Thursday night at Glendale High.
Carlos Morell had 117 yards rushing in 16 carries for the Rams (4-0). He scored on runs of eight and five yards.
Hoover (1-3) trailed, 7-0, at halftime, but had just 34 yards in the second half and never mounted a drive longer than 20 yards in the final two quarters.
Welser Maltez completed seven of 14 for 46 yards with one interception for the Tornadoes. He was sacked twice.
Jason Young had 27 yards rushing in six carries for Hoover.
