Forums Lined Up for Local Candidates

City Council and school board candidates will debate at several forums being sponsored by the League of Women Voters beginning next week.
Fullerton School Board candidates square off Monday at D. Russell Parks Junior High School, 1710 Rosecrans Ave. in Fullerton, at 7 p.m.
Brea City Council and Brea Olinda Unified School Board candidates will speak at a forum on Thursday at the Brea Civic and Cultural Center, 1 Civic Center Circle, at 6:30 p.m. Candidates running for state Assembly and Senate seats also will be at this forum.
Fullerton City Council candidates will be the featured speakers at a forum on Oct. 21 at the Fullerton Public Library, 353 W. Commonwealth Ave., at 7 p.m.
On Oct. 22, La Habra City Council candidates will debate at City Hall, at La Habra Boulevard and Euclid Street, at 7 p.m.
The forums are free, and the public is urged to attend and ask questions.
