Domestic Violence Program Planned

The public is invited to attend the fifth annual Shattered Trust Domestic Violence Conference on Friday at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.
The conference, entitled “Shattered Trust . . . Picking Up the Pieces,” will feature a panel discussion with victims of domestic violence. It will also include a variety of workshops dealing with domestic violence issues.
The event, which will run from 8:20 a.m. to 5 p.m., is co-sponsored by the Civic Arts Plaza Foundation and the Ventura County Domestic Violence Task Force. Registration is $25 and includes a continental breakfast and box lunch.
Tickets are available by contacting the district attorney’s victim services unit at 654-3622. The public also may register the day of the event starting at 7:30 a.m. at the Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.
