MARMONTE LEAGUE FOOTBALL ROUNDUP : Preston, Westlake Pass Test, 37-24

Casey Preston passed for 313 yards and three first-half touchdowns to lead top-ranked Westlake to a 37-24 victory Friday night in a Marmonte League game at Westlake.
Preston completed 15 of 23 passes, including touchdowns of 21 and 12 yards to Joey Cuppari (five receptions, 73 yards) and a 54-yard scoring pass to Scott Swaving (three receptions, 99 yards).
The Warriors (5-0, 2-0) scored on their first three possessions and built a 37-3 lead after three quarters. The Raiders (1-4, 0-2) were led by Sean Biggs, who ran for 92 yards in 17 carries and scored on runs of 60 and three yards.
Ryan Brunsell accounted for half of Channel Islands’ points. He kicked a 32-yard field goal, caught a 35-yard touchdown pass, ran for a two-point conversion and kicked a point-after.
