Paul Boltz, chief economist for T. Rowe Price, suspects there is evidence to support the theory that suggests the steadily rising market of the last six years will continue awhile longer. “There is a very interesting hypothesis that says the baby boomers will do for the equity market in the ‘90s what they did for the housing market in the ‘70s,” he said. When a large demographic group moves, everyone feels it.
