Nuggets’ Ellis Will Have Knee Surgery

Denver forward LaPhonso Ellis will undergo surgery to remove loose cartilage from his left knee today.
“It’s more of a cleaning than anything else,” Ellis said. “I’m not concerned about the surgery. I am more interested in getting back into the lineup.”
Ellis is expected to sit out three to four weeks.
